In recent years, we've experienced intense heat and sudden gusts of wind. Umbrellas now need to be not only suitable for both sun and rain, but also "easy to use" and "strong." Amvel has overcome the "difficulty of folding" that is a weakness of high-performance parasols, and has come up with the optimal solution, equipped with best-in-class wind resistance.
Shape-memory "Speed Pleats" for quick storage Fibers with a special core-sheath structure remember their folds. Storage time has been reduced by approximately half (individual results may vary). Despite a thin and lightweight design with a fabric thickness of only 0.13mm, it maintains 100% pleat retention even after 500 openings and closings. Anyone can store it beautifully and smartly.

Wind resistance clearing 108 km/h (30 m/s) Recorded no damage in one of the largest wind resistance tests in Japan. It features a unique structure where the central ribs are supported by two fiberglass rods, and a 12-sided aluminum shaft. The robust frame, resistant to strong downdrafts from buildings and inversion, reliably protects you on both rainy and windy days.
"Triple Block" structure that blocks sunlight In addition to 100% UV protection and 100% light blocking, it cuts 99.9% of near-infrared rays, which are a source of heat. The Snow color achieves a heat-shielding efficiency of 91.9%, providing a cool feeling "like a portable shade" even in direct sunlight. It blocks light and heat at the wavelength level.
Smart design combining thinness and lightness The single-layer structure, which does not use resin panels, achieves both the inherent flexibility of an umbrella and slim storage. This allows for light and easy portability.
Component configuration optimized for stability and operability It features an easy-to-grip EVA handle and a push-pull runner for smooth opening and closing. The design is resistant to wobbling even in strong winds, allowing you to use it without stress in all daily situations.
Around 2019, more and more umbrellas began to boast features like "folds neatly" or "folds quickly." I was one of those impressed by their convenience. However, at the same time, I was convinced that "this does not align with Anbello's philosophy."
This is because most of them used a method of attaching PET panels to the fabric, which inevitably made them heavy and thick when folded. For us, whose strength lies in being lightweight and slim, compromising portability was not an option.
If you prioritize easy folding, it becomes heavy; if you prioritize lightness, folding becomes more troublesome. To resolve this contradiction, I recalled the pleated fabric using "shape-memory yarn" that I worked with in my previous job. I wanted to revive that technology where the pleats held their beautiful shape.
However, that yarn became unavailable. Still, I didn't give up and steadily pioneered my own unique channels. I spent a long time developing the technology, which was once used for rain umbrellas, into a high-performance fabric for "all-weather use" (sun and rain), essential for today's harsh summers.
The completed "Speed Pleats" uses a special core-sheath fiber structure with creases memorized by heat treatment. It maintains a thinness of just 0.13mm, achieving overwhelming lightness and slimness compared to panel-type umbrellas.
We conducted a test showing that the pleats retained 100% of their shape even after 500 opening and closing cycles. We are likely the first in Japan to objectively prove "easy folding" with evidence.
We have perfected a strong frame that can withstand wind speeds of 30m/s while featuring a "triple block" structure that blocks sunlight and heat.
With "TOUGHNESS Speed Pleats," anyone can fold it beautifully and effortlessly in about half the time (individual differences may apply).
