An umbrella as a tool that blends into everyday life

When we are drafting blueprints, adjusting the strength of the umbrella ribs and the thickness of the fabric, we as makers often wonder: "Whose daily life will this umbrella accompany, and in what way?"

Recently, we found several articles written about our umbrellas on note. These weren't PR pieces or sponsored content, but rather genuine thoughts from people using our products in their daily lives, expressed in their own natural words.

As creators, this brought us great joy, and we would like to share some of them here.

Comfort in daily life, brought by design

One person touched upon our "Easy-Folding Pleats" model, which eliminates the minor stress of folding an umbrella. To save the effort of finding the folds on wet fabric, we use fabric treated with a special process that maintains pleats through heat and pressure.

While waiting for the bus in the rain, pressing a button to close the umbrella and having it fold back into its original pleats with just a light touch—it was clear how that smoothness transforms an outing on a rainy day into something more pleasant.

Lightness and operability: Each person's choice

Additionally, there are those who have chosen our 67g lightweight umbrella, driven by the desire to make their travel luggage as light as possible.

A lighter load directly translates to a lighter heart and reduced fatigue during travel. By adopting carbon fiber ribs—a material also used in aircraft—we aimed to create an umbrella whose presence is so unobtrusive you might even forget you are carrying it.

On the other hand, there was also an article from someone who switched from a manual, lightness-focused model to an automatic-opening one. Although the switch was prompted by losing the "ferrule" (the tip of the umbrella), the author also noted their desire to replace the parts on their original umbrella to keep using it.

If you incorporate an automatic opening/closing mechanism, the weight increases due to the structure of the internal springs and the shaft. There is no right or wrong structure; the optimal solution for each person varies depending on their daily mobility style.

An umbrella is more than just a tool to block rain or sunlight. We combine 100% light-blocking fabric, water-repellent performance to shed droplets, and the flexibility of ribs to deflect wind—all to reduce weather-related stress and support your carefree outings.

We will continue to dedicate ourselves to crafting umbrellas that draw close to your daily life.
