We pursued "ease of use" and "strength" to cope with the severe heat and sudden gusts of wind in recent years. We have solved the "difficulty of folding," which was a weakness of light-blocking and heat-shielding parasols, and achieved both high wind resistance and excellent functionality.
Shape-memory "Speed Pleats" reduces the hassle of storage
Special sheath-core structured fibers remember folds, reducing storage time by approximately half (*1). Despite being a thin and lightweight fabric of 0.13mm, it maintains high pleat retention even after 500 opening and closing tests.
Wind resistance that cleared a 30m/s wind speed test
Achieved high durability by clearing a 30m/s wind speed in a horizontal wind tunnel test conducted by an external institution (*2). The unique TOUGHNESS structure supported by two fiberglass ribs and the 12-sided aluminum shaft protect against strong building winds and inversion.
100% light-blocking and heat-shielding, triple block sunlight
Cuts 100% UV rays, 100% visible light, and 99.9% near-infrared rays (*3). The black inner surface absorbs reflections from the ground, and the Cloud Blue color achieves an 89.3% heat shielding efficiency (*4), blocking severe heat under the scorching sun and alleviating the perceived heat.
Slim design that combines thinness and lightness
The two-layer fabric, which does not use resin panels, achieves both the inherent flexibility and slimness of an umbrella. With a lightweight design of approximately 245g, it can be carried around easily.
Parts composition focused on stability and operability
Features an easy-to-grip EVA handle and a push-pull runner for smooth opening and closing. It is resistant to wobbling even in strong winds and can be used comfortably in all daily situations.

(*2) This is a measurement result in a test environment and does not guarantee durability against all sudden gusts in actual use environments.
(*3) Each cut rate is a measured value for the fabric state. Due to the structure of the umbrella, such as stitching, a small amount of light may leak.

Released in 2024, the 8-ribbed 'TOUGHNESS' represented a form prioritizing rigidity.
However, in response to requests for a "slightly smaller size," we undertook a redesign to incorporate six ribs.
Naturally, reducing the number of ribs tends to compromise strength.
Furthermore, while fiberglass, a recent mainstream material, is less prone to breaking, it also has the drawback of swaying significantly in the wind and easily inverting.
To counter this instability, we introduced "integrated double fiberglass."
By arranging two fiberglass rods in the main rib, we added definite "rigidity" to its flexibility.
This prevents excessive wobbling even when hit by wind, achieving wind resistance comparable to that of the 8-rib model.
To leverage this robust frame, we then focused on the "lightness and ease of folding" of the fabric.
Many of the increasingly popular "umbrellas that fold neatly" use a method where panels are attached to the fabric.
However, this makes them heavier and bulkier when folded.
Moreover, heavy fabric causes the umbrella to swing widely in the wind, placing significant strain on the wrist. Lightening the fabric was essential to gracefully dissipate wind forces.
Therefore, we adopted "Speed Pleats," which imprints folds into the fibers.
While maintaining the fabric's inherent thinness and lightness, the folds remain even after closing, allowing for quick and neat storage by simply following these creases.
Compact and wind-resistant. Yet, light and easy to fold.
