Even as smartphones evolve, there are still some things they just can't do.
Our luggage has become surprisingly light. With just one smartphone, we can do everything from work to payments to entertainment, and the bags we carry around are getting smaller and smaller. However, no matter how much digital technology advances, there are some things that smartphones will never be able to do.
That means "protecting you, the flesh and blood, from harsh weather."
Protecting yourself from sudden rain showers. Protecting yourself from the scorching rays of the sun. These are roles that only a physical "umbrella" can fulfill, and which will remain unchanged even as times change. That is why we have redefined from scratch what an "umbrella optimized for today's times" should be.
Taking on the contradiction between portability and functionality
The goal was to create an "overwhelmingly compact" umbrella that could fit in your pocket like a smartphone. However, simply making it small wasn't enough. Previous compact umbrellas had prioritized portability, which meant sacrificing the strength of the frame, or adding more joints to the ribs, which created another stress: it was "extremely difficult to fold."
"I want to protect it, but it's a pain to carry it around" "I want to use it, but it's frustrating to fold it up" To address these contradictions surrounding umbrellas that people have given up on and accepted as "unavoidable", we have come up with a solution: a unique design that has been registered, and a dedicated pouch that can be quickly unfolded and transformed into a bag.

Buying a plastic umbrella at a convenience store and then throwing it away is a temporary solution. We want to put an end to this type of consumption. Our concept is "From disposable to always-on."
