Product Development Story | KALCT Heatblock Aluminum Silver

We address the user's true feelings that "it's a hassle to fold."
Small everyday stresses hidden behind convenience
As the heatwaves get more intense every year, parasols have become a summer necessity. Looking around town, many people are choosing folding umbrellas, which are easy to carry.
However, after researching umbrellas for over 30 years, I have come to realize one "true feeling": "The truth is, it's a real hassle to fold them neatly every time you use them."
For a quick shopping trip or a short trip to the station, a long umbrella that can be quickly closed and started walking immediately should be much easier.
However, the reason why long umbrellas are avoided is simply because they are heavy and a burden to carry.
Approximately 200g. Unprecedented lightness for a long umbrella, and superior heat insulation to white umbrellas.
"If we could just eliminate the weight of long umbrellas, summer would be much more comfortable." This long umbrella, weighing approximately 200g, was born from that conviction.
We combined lightweight carbon fiber, the same material used in aircraft, with an extremely thin 20 denier polyester fabric that is only 0.06mm thick, to create a long umbrella that is as light as a smartphone.
It's as short and compact as possible when you're carrying it around, but when opened, it's large enough to be used safely on rainy days. It also features a silver fabric that physically reflects heat.
This provides cooling that is equal to or even greater than that of a white umbrella, which is known for its high heat-blocking effect.
Wind-deflecting "toughness" that folding umbrellas cannot match
The choice of a long umbrella also represents a return to "strength." I have seen many people struggling with their folding umbrellas, which have been blown inside out by the wind in the scorching heat of the city.
Folding umbrellas with many joints are inevitably vulnerable to wind. In our comparative testing, a typical lightweight folding umbrella was turned inside out at a wind speed of 8 m/s (a wind that would blow your hat away if you didn't hold it down), while the KALCT HEATBLOCK Aluminum Silver was proven to be able to withstand wind speeds of up to 11 m/s.
"No more hassle with folding," "Super light and cool," and "Strong enough to withstand rough weather." This single bag combines all of these features to transform your summer travels into stress-free, free time.
