New Arrival: TOUGHNESS Instant Pleats

Eliminating the daily hassle of "folding" with the power of memory.
Japanese summers have become so harsh that "enduring" them is no longer enough. Piercing sunlight and unexpected gusts of wind. Parasols are now both a "shield" for surviving the city and a "companion" to carry every day.
However, the more high-performance a parasol we choose, the more we encounter a dilemma: **"The multi-layered fabric for parasols is thick, troublesome to fold, and bulky."**
The mission of the "TOUGHNESS Instant Pleats," released today, is to transform this minor stress of "difficulty in folding" into "comfort" through technology.
Why does the supposedly convenient "ease of folding" become a burden?
In recent years, more umbrellas claim to have "shape memory." Many of these use a method of attaching resin panels to the fabric, but this has a clear drawback: "They become heavy and bulky when rolled up."
What Anbel sought was a compromise-free coexistence.
"Making the fabric itself remember its folds without relying on panels."
Anbel revived a special "core-sheath structure" fiber that was once used in rain umbrellas but had become difficult to obtain, through its own channels. By heat-treating the ultra-thin fabric, just 0.13mm thick, to remember its folds, they achieved "overwhelming lightness" and "slim storability" that panel-type umbrellas could not.
Even after 500 openings, the folds are still "brand new."
The name "Instant Pleats" is by no means an exaggeration. The moment the umbrella is closed, the fabric naturally tries to settle into the correct position without you even needing to guide it with your fingers. Tests have shown that the pleat retention remains 100% even after 500 openings and closings.
Whether you're in a hurry at a train station platform or about to enter a building. The time taken to put away the umbrella has been reduced by about half (individual differences apply), allowing anyone to neatly and smartly fold the umbrella beautifully, repeatedly, and without hesitation.
A "rigid" and "flexible" frame that withstands winds of 30m/s
It's not just about "ease of folding." This umbrella possesses one of the highest wind resistance performances in Japan, worthy of its name "TOUGHNESS."
-
12-sided aluminum shaft: By increasing the number of sides, strength against twisting and bending is dramatically improved.
-
Double fiberglass structure: Our unique design, which supports the main ribs with two fiberglass rods, ensures robustness that prevents damage even from sudden gusts (equivalent to wind speeds of 108 km/h), such as those found in urban canyons.
On rainy days, on windy days. With this frame, you won't be at the mercy of the weather.
Blocking the sun at a "wavelength level"
100% light blockage, 100% UV protection. These might be standard specifications for modern high-performance umbrellas. "TOUGHNESS Instant Pleats" focused on "heat blockage" beyond that.
It adopts a triple-block structure that cuts 99.9% of "near-infrared rays," which are the true source of scorching heat. With a high heat shielding effect of up to approximately 92%, the area under the umbrella is enveloped in a coolness akin to a "portable shade."
Peace of mind, in your hand
There are no flashy gimmicks like automatic opening and closing. However, there's the pleasant feel of the EVA handle that fits comfortably in your hand, the smoothly moving runner, and above all, the satisfying comfort of the pleats instantly aligning when closed.
Why not discard the stereotype that "folding umbrellas are troublesome to fold" at the start of this early summer? Beautiful until the very moment you close the umbrella. We deliver true "peace of mind" to your daily life.
