We wanted to use technology to solve the "clutter" that occurs the moment the umbrella closes.

After using a folding umbrella, those few seconds spent tidying the wet fabric. The more you're in a hurry, the longer those seconds feel, compounded by the unpleasant sensation of wet fingertips. My unwavering commitment was that "the umbrella should be smart not only when open but also when closed."

Faced with the difficult challenge of "ease of folding," which existing products couldn't solve, we decided to re-examine the very fiber structure of the fabric.

Instantaneous Pleats and Automatic Opening/Closing: The Hidden Story Behind the "Dedicated Design"

The most intricate and decisive point in this development was the "synergistic effect between the fabric and the ribs." The combination of "Instantaneous Pleats" with shape memory and the automatic opening/closing of "VERYKAL" was, in fact, the most ideal marriage possible.

We thought, could we utilize the spring force when an automatic opening/closing umbrella contracts as energy to fold the pleats?

Actually, this model, at first glance, looks like it has the same ribs as a regular VERYKAL, but the internals are completely different. It adopts a "dedicated design" frame with finely adjusted spring strength to match the resilience of the instantaneous pleat fabric.

If the spring is too weak, the fabric won't tidy up; if it's too strong, storing it becomes heavy. This power balance adjustment, precise to 0.1mm, creates that satisfying sensation where the shape neatens as if being sucked in the moment it closes.

Numbers Prove Overwhelming Protective Performance and Retention Force

Of course, we have also maximized its specifications as a parasol. The "Triple Block" structure, which applies back lamination to a thin 30-denier fabric, achieves 100% light blockage, 100% UV cut, and also cuts 99.9% of near-infrared rays, which are a source of heat.

Furthermore, we do not believe in describing "ease of folding" based on feeling alone. We conducted the industry's first pleat retention test, applying JIS standards, and obtained evidence of 100% retention after 500 open/close cycles.

The lightweight 210g body, made with carbon fiber also used in aircraft, is packed with our sincerity and technical logic.
