Almost perfect
"Quality control is excellent. Sizes are exactly as advertised. Canopy diameter is exactly 107 cm. My unit weights 163 g (161 umbrella only, +2 bag only) which is only 1 g of difference. When folded neatly, I measured it at about 3. 4 cm at the thinnest part, and less than 4 cm at the thickest. Size is great, as expected for an umbrella of 60 cm rib length. When open, it is plenty for 1 person and just enough to cover 2 people. The length of the rod is ~5 cm longer than most other umbrellas of this size class, which can sometimes help when going through crowds. The umbrella is sturdy. Despite being so light for its size, it does not flip easily in the wind, even when the wind blows towards the bottom of the canopy. It is only when the wind feels strong enough to blow away the umbrella that the canopy flips, protecting itself with no permanent damage afterwards. The mid rod is surprisingly thick (1 cm diameter at the bottom, which is the thickest), especially compared to how slim the umbrella folds. My other umbrellas of similar size have a 9 mm diameter mid rod, but are thicker when folded. This not only makes the umbrella strong but also makes it easy to hold without needing to hold the handle. Opening and closing is effortless. Compared to automatic umbrellas, I like manual open/close ones more because they are lighter, are easier to close, and have the ability to be opened halfway, which helps in crowed places and when boarding public transport. With 99. 44% UV and light blocking, it helps prevent sunburns and reduces a bit of heat. Notes and suggestions for further improvement of the product: 1. When folding the umbrella, after you rolled it, gently roll it in the opposite direction before rolling it tight. This will make the ribs fall into their intended place with no overlaps, allowing it to fold neatly. 2. One of the strings near the middle untied itself, so I fixed it myself with some needle and thread. 3. I added some hooks for extended function. I can now hang the umbrella on rods, and can hook the umbrella bag to the lanyard. It would be great if these are built in functions. 3. The length when folded (28. 5 cm) is a little long compared to umbrellas of this class (mostly around 26 cm; the previous generation, A2728, was also of this length). I'd like to see the folded length to be back to about 26 cm. 5. When folding the umbrella, the joints near the top tend to spring themselves open, unlike other umbrellas I have. This makes it more difficult to fold than normal. If this can be improved, it will be great. 6. With the increasing heatwaves around the world, I would like to see a heat block version of this umbrella."
